Then stir until all the ingredients are well mixed. Apply this mixture while your hair is damp and leave it for at least 40 minutes. You can even leave it on all night. Another recipe uses olive oil, known for helping to moisturize the hair, in addition to your Shea Butter. So again, add 1 and 1/3 cups of Shea Butter to a sauce pan and heat until it is melted. Then add 1/2 a cup of olive oil to the Shea Butter. Turn the heat off and mix the two together. Once the ingredients have cooled place the mixture into a blender along with 1 tsp. of vitamin E oil. Blend everything together until it has the consistency of mousse. Massage this into your hair and leave on for 20-30 minutes. When the time is up simply shampoo the mixture out of your hair.
