Jeremy Renner shares another hospital update on his Instagram story

His sister recently told “People” that he is “crushing” his recovery goals.

Jeremy Renner continues to recover after his freak accident on New Year’s Day.

Clearing snow from his property on the first of the year, the Marvel star was trying to help one of his relatives who was trapped in the snow when he was run over by his own crew, leaving him in a critical condition.

He certainly kept his fans updated on his status, two days later he shared his first update from the hospital in the form of a bedridden selfie, thanking everyone for their love and support and sending his own love back to them.

Just a few days later, on his 52nd birthday, he thanked his “reputable” ICU team for their expert care, sharing a photo with some of his caregivers around him.

Late last night, he shared another quick update on his Instagram stories, writing “I wish you all a very special night” about a clip he recorded from the foot of his bed as he was wheeled to another room for a CT or MRI.

It’s not clear how long Renner will be in hospital, but his sister, Kim Rennertold recently People that he is “making positive progress”.

She also told the publication, “We’re so happy with his progress. If anyone knows Jeremy, he’s a fighter and doesn’t mess around. He’s crushing all the progression goals. We couldn’t be more positive about the road ahead.”

Despite his progress and clearly cheerful demeanor, Renner is expected to have “a long road to recovery”. It’ll be some time before we see him elsewhere on set, but in the meantime, he’s excited for the ad sightings for the second season of Mayor of Kingston that have passed through town, which premieres tomorrow on Paramount+.
